Chef Christian Gosselin has recently been appointed Executive Chef of Chicago Rare Steakhouse at Four Seasons The Pearl-Qatar, opening in mid-April 2024. With a career beginning in April 2004 as Banquet Chef at Sofitel Montreal, Gosselin has developed a profound culinary expertise, marked by a tenure at Sofitel Chicago Water Tower and subsequent roles leading teams at prestigious venues such as LM Restaurant Group and Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, where he won the Cochon 555 in 2018.
His journey includes exploring First Nations and Native American cuisines, emphasizing sustainable and foraged ingredients. A farmer and beekeeper with deep respect for the earth, Gosselin is also passionate about using local and animal-based ingredients and integrates discipline and precision into both his professional and personal life.
